Hour 2: why this is already the flight from hell, screaming babies on board, Mark is already asleep, the calm before the storm. Hour 3 had a technical problem and didn't record. Hour 4: Emmanuel wins a game of interactive airline trivia, some of the really obscure questions, trying to figure out where the plane is, the game system runs on Linux. Hour 5: the Hour 3 problem is discovered, looking for some sort of a plot, a bug in the chess program, Emmanuel buys something from the duty free wagon, turbulence hits. Hour 6: Emmanuel sets a new in-flight trivia record, Mark was in the bathroom when the seat belt sign came back on, realizing just how long this flight is going to take. Hour 7: Emmanuel plays a game of chess with another traveling companion in a different part of the plane, Mark falls asleep while watching "Mr. Brooks," a visit from the loser of the chess game, plans to use other video game options, thoughts on Malaysia. Hour 8: the plane is directly over Kabul, more from the screaming babies, a desire for a cohesive plot, Mark is playing a video game with a handheld device, Emmanuel will be in Austria when this airs. Hour 9: why Emmanuel does recorded shows while he's away, what will be happening in Austria, what the future may be like in a decade. Hour 10: apologizing for cutting Mark off in the last hour, Mark theorizes on how airplane travel can improve in the future. Hour 11: over Russia and almost at the halfway point of the journey, why this will be a very long day, a menu appears on the screen, Emmanuel is planning on a glass of white wine. Hour 12: Sweden draws ever closer, memories of Malaysia, facts about the KL Tower and the Petronas Towers. Hour 13: approaching Stockholm, everything must be taken off the plane upon landing, ideas on what to do during the layover. Hour 14: standing in a waiting room in Stockholm, the airport seems strangely quiet, a missed opportunity to buy reindeer meat, more screaming kids, most of the flying is over, running out of video options on the plane entertainment system. Hour 15: still in Stockholm, comments from some of the other travelers on what has happened during the layover, looking forward to more screaming kids. Hour 16: over Norway, the good things about Sweden, Mark will be in Brazil next week, what Brazil is like, Mark wants to go to Madagascar. Hour 17: Emmanuel starts to feel the effects of traveling for so long, comparing this to the voyage around the world a couple of years ago, the next few hours will be tough. Hour 18: Emmanuel grows more tired, most of the plane is asleep, how second winds work. Hour 19: what might have happened had this been an actual episode of "24," getting a little energy back, running out of options on the entertainment system, looking forward to the next meal. Hour 20: nothing has really changed in the last hour, Emmanuel is really tired and Mark has been asleep for the past few hours, only four segments are left after this one, why this should be the climax of the whole thing. Hour 21: Emmanuel fell asleep in the last hour, how the sound of screaming babies will remain long after the flight is over, there should be changes in the next hour. Hour 22: Mark is awake, Emmanuel has his second wind, food is being served, what to wish for on long haul flights, thinking of things to complain about. Hour 23: for the first time in the journey the sun has gone down, the last segment in the air, the descent into Newark begins.
