The United States Department of Commerce had a little surprise waiting for them on Friday, February 20, 1998. This page doesn't really say a whole lot but we're sure it was a real black eye to an administration that has had its fair share of embarrassments and scandals.

The page hacked was www.stat-usa.gov and was claimed by SUid (Society Under Inet Dependance) [sic].
