The first show of the new year was actually taped in December at a local shopping mall, trying to clear up the confusion with the prerecorded shows, why this isn't the second part of the Autobahn feature, tonight's show is abbreviated due to a basketball game, Emmanuel's thoughts on this particular mall, Kyle's ability to remember who owns which mall, why malls are social gathering points, an update on the FA Cup, more memories of the Autobahn, thoughts on speed limits, there are a bunch of kids in the mall playing together in the background, comments on the recently concluded Chaos Communication Congress that hasn't yet occurred at the time of this recording, a call to get out and travel, the subtle differences in malls around the world, how cash registers and sales have changed over the years, Kyle has a negative outlook on malls and consumerism.
