Here's a little mini-feature on the telephone system found in Frobisher Bay on Baffin Island in April of 1987. We hear the sounds of the mechanical step-by-step switch and learn a bit about the new DMS-10 being implemented. Among other things, we learn that the nearest operators are in Montreal while directory assistance is just down the hall.
